Description

Potato Stamped Gift Wrapping Paper

Inspired by traditional block printing, this pattern is created on navy blue, cotton rag paper using hand-carved potato stamps and all-natural chalk paint, preserved with honey and clove oil.

In collaboration with Aneesha Reddy, we have created these beautiful Potato Stamped Gift Wrapping Paper. She is a sustainable artist based in Hyderabad. Her art practice is an ode to the magic of nature through her choice of materials and subjects. Through her artwork and process, she challenges the notion of creating art that seemingly lasts in perpetuity using mass manufactured, unsustainable materials. Aneesha instead seeks to create art that treads so lightly on the environment that it can disappear without a trace.
